They say their is no such thing as bad publicity, having watched the TTD feature on the show
I think this is untrue.
Despite featuring some great work which went uncredited they went on to feature a bride standing in a car park standing against a pink background with guys throwing buckets of paint at her.
The whole tone of the feature was a disaster, it was dealt with in a superficial way and the credits rolled as the shoot took place.
Trashing is about freedom, creativity and sensitivity, at one point I thought Richard was convinced but in the end I think he was just confused.
Anyone else see it ?
I am so up for this yet whenever I mention it to my family (my mother in particular) and even photographers, they either don't get it or have never heard of it!
As our ceremony is taking place abroad I thought having a trash the dress photo shoot when we get back would be a great idea to get the shots that I want (I can't imagine that photos of the actual day will be anything more than my husband and I leaning against a palm tree - which actually fills me with horror tbh). I want stylistic, natural and creative pictures and not having to worry about whether I'll get mud on my dress makes the whole idea even better. When I mentioned to my dress maker and my mother that I wanted to have a picture of me leaping into the water and then swimming in my dress the look of horror on their faces was a picture. But why on earth not??? I'm never going to wear the dress again, I might as well have fun with it while I can right?
So if you ever decide to do a shoot in West Berkshire after 18th August 2009 just give me a shout, I'll be more than up it!
